Hey,
Try changing the twm in xstartup to dtwm. this is the dt windows manager.

Or you could use the -query option. To get the dtlogin screen.

Subject: vnc

Hi:

I connect to my Unix VNC server and I just see a grey desktop with a cursor.
I looked at the FAQ page and could not figure out what to do. I'm usnig
Exeec to connect to a SUN workstation using fvwm2 Xwindow manager. I
launched vncserver via Exceed and telnet, it did not make a difference. I
linked my ./.vnc/xstartup to my .Xdefaults, it didn;t change either. This is
what I had in xstartup originally:

#!/bin/sh

xrdb $HOME/.Xresources
xsetroot -solid grey
xterm -geometry 80x24+10+10 -ls -title "$VNCDESKTOP Desktop" &
twm &

I changed the last line to fvwm2 and realized no difference either. I do not
have .Xresourses in my home area. I'm enclosing the .files from my home area
for furthur debug. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Regards,

- Abbas
