Great Questions.

If vnc is configured in the registry correctly, I can log off one user and
login as another without a disconnection. I have tried this for cleaning the
memory, but as stated earlier, I think it is something in the socket for the
TCP/IP connection with WinVNC. I don't have a win2k box here anymore but I
would assume since it is doing an rpc call to the system that you just need
to be an administrator to use it (I could be wrong, there might be an
updated version for win2k).

If you need these programs, drop me a line directly and I will email them to
you.

Steve

Steve - thanks for your reply.

What if instead of choosing "Reboot", I choose "Logoff and sign in as a new
user". Then I reboot. Will I stay connected during the logoff? Will this
ensure that all programs are flushed from memory?

Also, will the programs in the WinNT Resource Kit run on Win2000 by default?

Thanks,
HF
