I have attached a version of the VNC server with the
tray icon disabled. To answer your first question, if
the tray icon is not present then the users will not
be aware that VNC is running and will not have access
to it. As for the deployment of VNC, you can use any
method at your disposal such as SMS to push VNC to the
desktop. I also have a script that was given to me
that will install and run VNC on a remote NT box and
uninstall itself when you close the connection.
Unfortunately, I have not had the time to test the
script to see if it does or does not work. It may need
tweaking to make work. Either way I have attached that
as well. If you do test the the script and find that
it does or doesn't work please let me know. Thanks.
