Hello all,

I recently installed Vnc, once connected I try to start Xwindows from the
console and I get the following message:

kpanel: ok, commencing initialization

And nothing happens after this message.

It appears that the Xwindows is attempting to start because I receive
several messages from the video card setting up the proper video settings.

Is this the proper way to get the Xwindows desktop from within the VNC
session from Windows 2000?

Thanks for any insight that you may have,
