Hello,
I am having a big problem related to key mapping. I have searched the mail
archive for this problem, but have found no messages describing the same
problem I have (altought some had a very similar problem). 99% of my keys
don't work; letter 'a' is fine, but the rest is wrong. For example, "1234"
(numbers on the main board) gives "90-="; '5' is backspace, all the letters
are mixed up, shift gives '1', numeric keypad '5' (with numlock) gives '15'
and the list goes on...

The problem arises when using a linux vncserver (from windows to windows
using the same client, it works fine). I have tryed changing the french
canadian keyboard to a standard english one, nothing changed. I have tryed
the french canadian keyboard directly on the linux box, works like like a
charm.

I am using red hat 6.2 with a kernel (2.2.18) patched for MOSIX clustering.

The reason I want to use vnc is to provide terminal services to our MOSIX
cluster; the same way we are using citrix metaframe on our win2000 server.
At first glance, vnc seems capable of doiing that, but I was wondering if
there was a better solution available (free or not, but preferably free).
Any info about that?
