Starting iXvnc with -query option, iXvnc enables XDMCP and it request
xdm to start login window. If you get no login window, then
xdm is not running on your machine. Start xdm in daemon mode
at host machine's startup sequence (some where in rc).

Normal vcserver uses ~/.vnc/xstartup script to start initial X clients.
For iXvnc/xdm case, xdm invokes ~/.xsession script and
when this script done, xdm reset the X window (iXvnc).
