Does anybody have problems using KDE 2 applications under vnc? (I found
nothing searching the mail archives.) Every time i try to run one, such
as konqueror, i get the KDE crash handler telling me that the
application sent the signal 11 (SIGSEGV). The machine is an Alpha
running Redat 6.2 (i think). The KDE environment, per se, will not run
properly for some unknown reason even under XFree86, but i can run all
of the KDE applications under XFree86 using another window manager, such
as AfterStep. I just can't run these applications under vnc. I've pasted
in here the error message from the KDE crash handler:
