Hi Maikel,
I just made a full scan of my system using NetShield NT 4.0.3 (Network
Associates Inc., formerly McAfee) with the virus definitions 4.0.4119 from
3rd
February 2001. No viruses were found even in WinVNC Version 3.3.3R7 which I
downloaded on 11th January 2001.
So I believe your system wasn't infected installing WinVNC but before or -
much
probably - thereafter.
I suggest you try to get rid of the viruses (including a complete
deinstallation
of VNC) and then downloading a clean version.
Regards
Daniel

Hello,
We are experiencing problems with our virus scanner as of today we had an
update of the virus definitions Winvnc.exe is seen as a virus.
Are more people having this problem and does anyone have a solution for it,
or maybe there is a fast way for us VNC users to make clear to Mcaffee that
VNC isn't a virus but a verry handy tool.
