everything is working great!
Thanks

Subject: Re: Garbled and Inverted characters for SPARC (help!)
I had the same exact problem about 2 weeks ago. I initially used the RPM's
for
linux sparc. I had to compile my own version to solve the problem. Go to
the
following URL:
http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/platforms.html
On this page there is a link to a patch for compiling VNC on Linux Sparc.
Also, get the unix source code. Extract the files from the source tarball
using:
tar -xzvf vnc-3_3_3r2_unixsrc.tgz
Then copy the patch file into the vnc_unixsrc directory. Now change to the
vnc_unixsrc directory and apply the patch using the following command:
patch -p0 < vnc_linux_sparc.patch
Follow the direction in the README file to compile the viewer and the
server.
That should work. If for some reason it you can't get it to compile, email
me
and I can send you my binaries.
