Do you mean that you do not want to install something on the client machine?
I'm not sure about linux but this is possible on windows: All you need to do
is use the java viewer in windows, if directly connected to the net just
http://machi.ne.ip.address:5800 and that will do it for you, or you can use
the vncviewer.exe file to open up the client app, this will fit on a disk
with room to spare.
