Hi to all!!!

We are using TridiaVNC vers. 1.4 with different windows2000 PCs. Now we have also
installed it on a new machine. AMD Athlon
850 Mhz, 192 Mb RAM, VIA KT133 mainboard with a ATI RageGL AGP 16 Mb card. The actual
ATI driver version is 5.0.43.0. We
use W2K pro US SP1.

The problem: after a certain time using TridiaVNC server with a remote client the
server hangs. It is impossible to establish a new
connection and when I walk to the W2K machine and try to restart the TridiaVNC service
I receive the error message that W2K is
unable to shut-down this service. The crashed TridiaVNC service is using 70% of the
CPU time in this situation. I have to reboot the
machine to work again with VNC.

Does anybody have experiences with this configuration? IS this the ATI driver, or do I
have to deal with total different reasons? Up
to now I never had such problems on other W2K PCs.

:-) Hannes
