We have been using VNC pretty successfully over the last couple of years.

However it did encounter some connection problems (ie: kept losing its
connection and we had to keep pinging the PC to keep alive). Also there were
some functions not available which we required.

We have now purchased another remote s/w package (Netsupport PCDuo) but, as
with many other applications, it requires any other remote s/w to be
uninstalled before we can install it.

Basically we need to write a simple user login script to uninstall VNC and
then install PCDuo. Obviously the PCDuo install routine we are able to work
out but we need some help in uninstalling VNC via a batch script. There are
many PC's in our company so manually doing an add/remove programs in Control
Panel would be very time consuming.

I have tried running c:\program files\orl\vnc\winvnc -remove but a message
appears unable to remove. For your information we are running VNC as a
service and NOT an application. We also have VNC running on all platforms
i.e: Win9x, NT & 2000
