No matter what you setup...VNC's RFB port (the 'control
channel', the one whose default is 5900) *must* be opened at the
firewall. If you want to use a browser to connect to the "browser
port" (port# = RFB# - 100) then that port must be opened as well.
Keep in mind that all the browser does is download a java app that
then immediately connects back to the RFB port.
To use port-80, then, set your VNC server's RFB port to be
180, then open both 80 and 180 thru the firewall. Or, if you're
feeling adventurous, do as <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> suggested:
