Well, I haven't given the entire picture:
We are not interested in controlling remote desktop, we want to record them.
It's a major issue to record a host (or agent as we call it) and that he
won't feel that he is been recorded, and yes maximizing Notepad and typing
at a normal rate will cause Notepad to type very slowly (Unless I guess if
you have a P4 with 1.4 GHerz as a host).

Adding a delay between receiving keyboard events and sending updates will
then cause an overall increase in the latency between hitting a key and
seeing the effect, if the paragraph below is correct. This will make the
situation seem worse, not better. The only exception is if scheduling of
WinVNC causes problems for notepad.
