Hi John:
I've had the same problem. This is the way i've soved it:
- coment all commands con .vnc/xstartup
- put the command dtsession
In this way when you run the vncsever on the solaris box, the session is
initiated with CDE.

Subject: desktop enviroment
I am after successfull installing the viewer,but when i run the server i
get a desktop enviroment that is totally unsuitable,in the .vnc/xstartup
script ive changed "twm" bit to "dtwm" but it still makes no improvements
