Vincent, I had the same symptom as you described (details shows crash in dibeng.dll), and I followed Michael's suggestion and dropped the color depth to 256. I did a customer demo on April 19 (customer running Viewer from California to my VNCServer in Seattle over a DSL line). During the demo, I was able to stay connected for an hour or so, but noticed periodic 5-second sags and returns to normal in system resouces. After about an hour, the resouces finally sagged to zero, and the connection was severed. So something was still not right. On Friday, at the suggestion of the VNC guys, I replaced the graphics card (went from a generic Intel 740 card to a 16M NVidia) and tested again. Under this scenario, I had no crashes at ANY color depth and did not see any fluctuation in system resources, although this was only tested on a LAN, not via DSL.
