Subject: Errors Tunneling VNC over SSH

I am having trouble connecting to a VNC server via SSH.

Both the VNC server and the SSH daemon (Vshell from VanDyke
Technologies) are running on a remote WinNT box.

I've set up the SSH client, SecureCRT (also from VanDyke), to forward
remote port 5900 to local port 5901. When I try connecting the
vncviewer to "localhost:2", I get the error:

  Local loop-back connections are disabled

I get this same error if I configure port fowarding to local ports 5900,
5901, or 5903 and use the correct host:port for vncviewer (localhost:0,
localhost:1, or whatever).

Does anybody have experience using this SSH server? I suspect that it's
the culprit (besides operator error).

Connections in the clear (vncviewer remotehostname) work fine as do SSH
client connections.

TIA
