Hmmm... I'm running over a 100Mb home LAN, and it just sits there for
what seems like forever. And I didn't notice the lights on the ether
switch flashing to show that traffic was flowing.
(I won't be able to try this again for a couple of days, since I'm
currently on a road trip to drizzly Chicago, but when I get home I'll
try the minimise/unminimise trick and see if it ever wakes up. And I'll
also watch the lights carefully this time.)
