If you're using this on Windows platform, I would recommend trying the
VNC Scan software - http://tgcs.web-it.com/vncscan/
You can create customized scans of your IP scheme and pull up all of the
systems that have the VNC software installed on them.
The system creates a database of the IP's with the NetBios name and a
comments field that you can place whatever you want in there.
They've got a 15 or 30 days trial, I forget which, but the registration
fee is low - only $30!!
No, I'm not one of the authors - but we did recently purchase 7 licenses
of the console! It works darn good!
