WinVNC w/Dial-Up - which protocol is best?

Using WinVNC with Windows 98 and connecting via Dial-Up Networking:  Does it
matter which protocol I use?  Is any one of them better for use with VNC than
another -- TCP/IP, NetBEUI, IPX/SPX?
