Brain-

I'm a little confused. Is this on one machine with multiple OS's or is this
on several different machines each with a different OS? If you have seperate
machines the only way the Solaris machine would be accessed when you intend
to access the RedHat machine is if you didn't type in the correct name or IP
address when you started your viewer. Could you give us some more details?

Hello,

I am trying to install/configure VNC on multiple OSes. I have been
successful on Solaris 8 but when trying to get it working on Linux have
been quite unsuccessful.

I have installed and configured VNC to run via inetd (works on Solaris 8)
on RH 6.2. When I try to connect to my RH box the Solaris box responds.
I've changed ports to no avail.

What am I missing?

Thanks for your help,
Brian Street.
