Well, its been a sorry few days. I have downloaded both the Win32 set and
Linux2.x x86 VNC packages. Installed without any glitches and have actually
made a connection to my nixbox(which is monitorless).

My idea and hopes is that I can use from each different machine on the
network, their profile on the nixbox.

As I said so far I can get a KDE2.x desktop up but immediately it crashes
when clicking on an icon from the desktop.

Specifically, I want to be able to run Applications that are on the nixbox
such as Quanta(HTML Editor) StarOffice etc... I have no problem with telnet,
currently use SAMBA for file print serving. However I do have people currently
that really arent bright enough to leave windows let alone play with linux,
and want to use VNC more or less for a training aide.

If anyone can give me a some guidance of how to set this up right, it would
be greatly appreciated.

Also, is there any way to set up VNC to start as a linux system does, i.e.
the login prompt for the GUI where I currently select kde, kde2, failsafe or
shutdown selection.

TIA,
