You are of course using the port of 580# where number is the VNC server you 
want to connect too.. I do remember reading that where if you started the 
first VNC server it would be i.p:1  if connecting through a firewall you will 
need to allow ports 5800-5999 .  then your connection number would look like 
i.p:5801or subsituting the 1 for the correct vnc server.  

I dont know that im completely right on this, I too am a newbie
