Service Packs include updates and bug fixes to your operating system. They
are freely available from Microsoft. The latest for Windows NT 4.0 is
Service Pack 6a. Each Service pack superceeds the last so you only need to
download SP 6a and install it. You will not need any of the previous Service
Packs. As an additional note, WinNT is NOT Y2K compliant without at least SP
4. You can see what Service Pack you currently have installed by click on
Start-->Programs-->Administrative Tools (Common)-->Windows NT Diagnostics.

Subject: Service packs?

>From the FAQ's:

WinVNC causes a 'Blue Screen of Death' on NT!
Again, make sure you have Service Pack 3 or later. If this happens it is
usually due to bugs in Service Pack 1. Also note the Service Packs' warning
that if you add or change components on your system you should reapply the
service pack

Can someone tell me, what is a 'service pack', where can I download it, and
how do I add it to my VNC install?

Cheers,

Matt
