Successful connections work OK.
The wallpaper disappears on connection and reappears on disconnection.
I tried both the "kill all clients" from the server end (here), and
getting the connecting end (a win2000 machine) to close its connection -
bot hways work fien.
So it's only failed connections that cause problems.
