Subject: viewing my console session via vnc

Hi,

I just installed VNC last night and I love it so far.
(I just wish that someone can come up with a file
copy extension :) )

My main machine at work is Linux, which I had been
connecting from home all this while via SSH and XWin.
Is it possible to view my console session via VNC ?

Basically, I have everything setup on my console, and
I just want to view and work with it via VNC at home.

Thanks much !
Ashu

Um, maybe I'm missing something here, but can't you do that with SSH (or
just telnet)?

I have a system setup some thing like this...

First I started vncserver with the geometry and color depth of the
actual hardware and --alwaysshared.

Then I opended a raw X session and an xvncviewer connected to the vnc
display in full screen mode.

Perhaps not exactly what you're looking for, but it's as close as I
know how to get.

This may be a good solution for now, but I am having trouble finding
xvncviewer for Windows 2000. All my searches give linux versions.
I couldn't locate this on VNC website either.

(Don't mind the following question, I don't qualify as an expert linux
user by any stretch of imagination. How do you open a 'raw' X session ?)

Thanks in advance.
