I'm trying to develop an auto-install for VNC. I installed it normally, and successfully, on one machine. Then, I manually copied all files from that machine to another maintaining the same path names. I also found all registry entries for "vnc" or "orl" and merged them into the second machine's registry. After a reboot of the second machine, WinVNC will not start.
