I'm finding various references to
Xlib: extension "RENDER" missing on display ":1.0".
in connection with the use on VNC on RedHat 7.1.
One example is :

My goal is to get KDE running, and I've followed advice regarding
removing Anti Aliasing, but still receive the error.
Is there a plan in place to add RENDER extensions, or perhaps there is
another workaround?
