What needs is PAM (pluggable authentication module) support, then VNC (on linux, at least - I'm sure other *nixen also support PAM) could use any of the PAM authentication modules, like /etc/passwd, shadow passwords, LDAP, NT domain, securid, RADIUS, Kerberos, Netware, and lots more. Should be fairly easy (said he, with no intention of doing it). Maybe I could cough up some funding if somebody would care to volunteer. I'd need some assurance that it'd make its way into the main branch (given the code's good & clean, natch). -- Illtud Daniel [EMAIL PROTECTED] Uwch Ddadansoddwr Systemau Senior Systems Analyst Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru National Library of Wales Yn siarad drosof fy hun, nid LlGC - Speaking personally, not for NLW --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the line: 'unsubscribe vnc-list' in the message BODY See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------
