>From the viewing machine, try SHIFT+ALT+TAB.  If that doesn't work, click on
the little VNC icon in the top left corner (the VNC system icon), select the
menu option for "ALT down".  Then press and release the TAB key.  Go back to
the VNC system icon, select "ALT up" from the menu.
