Dear friends,
I have tested the VNC viewer program using a Sun Workstation (Solaris
2.7) using the Java client and a Windows NT Workstation (4.0 service
pack 6a) using the proper executable. The server was always running in a
windows NT computer.
Of course I have used the latest versions of server and client. I am
reporting the following problems that I did not find in the actual mail
list:
* Both the java client and and the executable work fine for normal
window, whereas when you move a dos window shell it does not
automatically refresh and also leaves unrefreshed trails on the
screen.
* I had to modify the Java version the module vncCanvas.class
because of the occurrence of the exception"Unknown RFB message type
-1". I have just commented out the throw istrunction.
* Still another problem present only in the java client: it does not
show the scroll bars so it may only be used if the client screen
has a bigger definition of the server screen.
