You mean aside from having your own keyboard map (or *A* viewer machine
keyboard map) also set to ABNT12??

Subject: Keyboard problem

Hi people,

I installed VNCServer on a Debian machine that has a 'ABNT12'
keyboard layout (it's a portuguese layout). When I connect there from my
machine (I have an usual 102keys US keyboard) all graphics works fiine,
except that anything I type is translated wrong on the remote machine,
so I can't type anything... Since I can't modify the remote machine
keyboard layout (people would be very mad at me) I can't use vnc at all.

Is there an 'easy' solution to go around this? Like a user's
personal keyboard configuration, or something like that?

Thanks in advance for any tips.

Gabriel
