Also check under these two keys: - for users who already have it set up:
HKCU\Software\ORL\WinVNC3 And for generic setup on future users HKEY_USERS\.Default\Software\ORL\WinVNC3 Notice that for the user keys you do not have a finaly subkey of "Default". ------------------------------------------------------- Finally..FWIW, since I'm across the water where legalities are somewhat different - This is a fairly common practice in call centers - just like the telephone monitoring. One of they key differences here is that the intent is to train and monitor quality, *not* to "catch" employees - and informing employees of the monitoring in this situation really biases your sample data. I do buy pretty strongly into the idea that attempting to "spy" is a violation of ethics and using it in a legal sense is not good, but for specialty support systems, this is IMO a legitimate use of monitoring. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bradley Young" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday/2002 January 14 09:42 Subject: RE: disabled wallpaper feature : Hi, : : Try the following location: : : [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORL\WinVNC3\Default] : : Cheers, : Brad. : : -----Original Message----- : From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] : Sent: 14 January 2002 14:30 : To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] : Subject: Re: disabled wallpaper feature : : : yes i saw something mentioned about the "removewallpaper" entry.... do u : know where exactly in the registry this should be... as we don't seem to : have an entry called that anywhere in there... : : i wasn't sure if i was to add it then set a value to it. : : : : [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: : : > I think you could just remove (or not insert) the 'RemoveWallpaper' : > registry entry.
