Hello all

New user here, I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer for in
the FAQ's or mailing list. I am completely new to this type of thing so
please bear with me.

I already have VNC on my SuSE 7.3 box, and have accessed it via IE5 from my
win2k pro workstation and vice-versa, so far so good & VERY slick! This
covers about 90% of my needs.

I downloaded VNC for windows and installed it (server and viewer) on my
win2k box, so now I can access my linux machine from the viewer as well as a
browser, I just keep the viewer executable on a network drive so I can
access it when I get on our LAN via the internet/citrix server, this way I
can get to my linux and windows machines at my desk and run them remotely.

My questions are:

#1 - My windows machine is on a 21" screen so I use 1280 X 1024, when I
access this from my linux machine or any other machine the display is such
that I'm always scrolling to do anything. Can I configure the vnc server on
th windows machine or the viewer on the client to have it all fit in a
window, or even in full view?

#2 - Becuase I live in the "sticks" so to speak, I am limited to dialup, but
I'd still like to access my home machine from work from time to time when
it's online, I was tossing the idea of using netmeeting to do this, but
since I've used VNC I'd much prefer that, and I can access it from my linux
box then. Can this be done?, if so, how?

thanks!
