Well, if you want to compile something, and, to be able, you arrive to ask for help in the mailing list, maybe the point it's you want to try some changes / extensions to the code... ;-) However, thankyou all for the help, Finally I've realized the lib is Xpm and I've found it in some libxpm*.rpm, and I got it compiled. If interested, I've recompiled in order to be able to start vncviewer listening on whatever port I want (for example 80 or 143, or other well-known). The original version didn't work because of the 5400 offset. On VNC site there is the suggestion to pass a negative value, but it refers to vncconnect, vncviewer interprets something like -listen -23 as -23 was one of command line options. i think the offset should be somehow removable. vnc in reverse connection mode is interesting if you have a machine without a worldwide visible, public IP, but yet able to establish a connection toward a public IP, on some ports. ============================================== Marco Brandizi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the line: 'unsubscribe vnc-list' in the message BODY See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------
