Well, somebody recently asked how well VNC worked with XP's multiple
user thingies, and got a reply to use Terminal Services instead. Well, I'd
like to use VNC because I want to be able to work on my home computer from
school, where I am probably not allowed to install the Terminal Services
client or the TSAC ActiveX control (and that doesn't work on Macs, anyways).
So:
How well does VNC work with multiple user logons and fast user
switching in XP? Would I need to disable fast user switching for VNC to
work?
How many ports would I need to open up in my firewall? I have a
Linksys DSL access point/router/etc. combo box.
