There are devices like this available.   BlackBox sells one: they call it
the ServLINK, it lists for $6495.00 (no, that's not a typo).  It apparently
requires thair ServSwitch KVM switch (Keyboard / Video / Mouse switch) (also
not cheap) so you can use it to control many systems.

The "remote" computer runs pcAnywhere to communicate with this device.

I would guess there are much less expensive devices available.  But keep in
mind, this isn't simple.  The device must accept a video signal as input,
and reconstruct the screen contents.  Likewise it must generate keyboard and
mouse signals.
