Since the vnc Xserver (Xvnc) runs on the sun, it can use the same fontpath
settings and operate as if on the local display.

The eXceed Xserver (and other PC based Xservers) run on the local PC and
hence, they cannot access font directories in the fontpath. They can use the
fontserver settings in the fontpath.

Easy way out: install a fontserver on the sun and configure it with the same
directories as the local X display (avoid troubles and leave out the
fontserver settings!) And configure PC based Xservers to use the fontserver.

For less network trafic, convert the unix based fonts to the local X server.
Check documentation for details.
