Hi there I appreciate that this might not be strictly to do with VNC but I was hoping that someone might have had the same issue as me and found out how to solve it. I am running the UNIX version of VNC on a Redhat 6.1 machine and all works fine, however, I wanted to know if someone knew the command that will show the start bar (cant remember the proper unix term for the bar that has the netscape, xterm and control center icons on it) instead of having just the x term window, I have figured out to how to display a proper background wallpaper when in a unix VNC session but getting the bar to appear ahs got me stumped, I managed to do it once before but I cant remember what I did.please can someone help? Thanks very much for any help you can give Regards Davidt --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the line: 'unsubscribe vnc-list' in the message BODY See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------
