I didn't notice the link in the footers  ack!  However, I believe
there used to be a link from the US ATT site to VNC in cambridge, I am
almost certain of it.  Thanks for the info.

I did notice that on http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/  it says:

"April 23rd 2002: Although the laboratory in Cambridge will close
shortly, a webserver will remain at this web address into the future. It
will be a repository for technical reports and papers, the open source
packages, VNC and omniORB, and historic information about past
projects."

Any idea what that means as far as future support/enhancements?  It
doesn't sound good.
