Hi, I have set up a copy of WinVNC on a Windows 2000 Server. I tested it in App mode, and everything was fine - only took a few seconds to set it up. I then went to the Service setup, but with only limited success. I can log in (from NT4 Workstation), but as soon as I do, it throws a 'Connection Closed' message. It's not the password, cos if I deliberatly misspell that I get an 'authentication failed' message. I've tried with a user logged into the remote machine, and without. Both screens are at the same resolution, and logging in a second time stills disconnects, so I don't think it is related to that issue.
Anyone got any ideas? Thanks, Mike Who we are ...... What we do .....
