Folks,

the Tag Avatar is at:
http://www.pd.org/~thatguy/Ntag3.wrl

Its got 3 buttons

"beIt" selects the "it" Avatar
"beNot" selects the "not it" Avatar
"unTag" unTags someone ( see last paragraph )

The default position of the AV is "not it"

Select someone to be 'beIt"
The "beNot's" run away THEN the it person selects "beIt" and chases after them

When someone is tagged AND they'll know they are tagged...Acknowledge it to
everyone
The "beNot's" run away THEN the old "beIt" person presses "unTag"
THEN the it new person selects "beIt" and chases after them

then just repeat as needed.

simple?

the "beIt" Avatar is a large pointing hand ( much like in the film yellow
submarine )

the 'beNot" Avatar is an abstract character to changes color over distance.

Cyan: Far away
Purple: Mid-Range
Red: Close
Yellow - in a transparent red ball: IS tagged ( Its the same distance as
the proximity sensor that trips the tag function )

still simple?

I haven't played enough to be up on all the "issues"

I do recommend that the if a person drops in while a game is in progress
that the It person presses the "beIt" button. This will make sure the new
person see's what everybody else is seeing.

( After a person is "tagged" the Person who tagged them must "unTag" them.
You see as the "It" Avatar came close enough and "tagged" them a promixity
sensor tripped. Now for that person only a Big Red Avatar has filled the
world. The "unTag" button will set the avatar back to normal. BUT FIRST
the old "It" person needs run away a safe distance. Or the promixity
sensor will just trip again. )

...so lets learn to play ( and if ya can't how ya gonna learn to work? )

til sunday
