sigh...
okay
<SOAPBOX>
after years of running majordomo in various places
private and public academic and commercial
the net has now sunk to this new low...
I think we do ourselves a dis-service
by eliminating some input
from occasional posters
who don't want to be _on_ the list
*and*
I can see no alternative to
setting restrict_post to pointing to
the subscriber list
and just accepting that
the roar from assholes
which was just a background noise for so many years
is now interfering with day-to-day life on the net
and waaaaay too much...
with freedom of expression come dues one must pay
and it sucks sometimes
</SOAPBOX>
ahem
at this point
if you aren't subscribed to
the mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED]
then messages you send there will bounce
[into *my* mailbox...
wah
but at least I get to
$%^# back at their service providers]
and
if you *are* subscribed to the list
[hopefully] messages will go through...

your currently unfriendly-feeling local postmaster
