ohh god :-( 2.1
I think that it might be this system....
I have some problem with loading VRML files that are local.
Any time I do, the dial-up connection box pops up and
the browser starts dialing because it seems to think that
it has to be online to view the file. If I hit 'work offline'
then it tells me that it can't retreive the file offline
(that's a load of crap). If I stop the connection but
don't close the dial-up box then it loads in a new browser
window just fine. Closing the dial-up box after that causes
a second browser window to open up with the navigation cancel message.
If I have a browser window already open before I try to look at
a VRML file then it will load without all the other crud
happening. I used to have cosmo player plugged in to IE4 on
this machine. Do you think that might be something to do with
what's wrong (bad uninstall)? I can still view VRML files on
the web just fine, but none of the VNet servers are working for
this machine.

Do I need to do a Win98/IE4/Worldview check on another machine
or have you got enough confirmations that v1.1b2 is working?
