Hello,
I have tried unsuccessfully to view a VNet world under Linux. I am using
FreeWRL 0.26 embedded in Netscape Communicator 4.7. I always get an error
with the Java part; the Java console says:
# Applet exception: error: java.lang.ClassFormatError: Class already loaded
java.lang.ClassFormatError: Class already loaded
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:250)
at netscape.applet.AppletClassLoader.findClass(AppletClassLoader.java:763)

netscape.applet.DerivedAppletFrame$LoadAppletEvent.dispatch(DerivedAppletFrame.java:438)
at java.awt.EventDispatchThread$EventPump.dispatchEvents(EventDispatchThread.java:81)
at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.run(EventDispatchThread.java:135)
at
netscape.applet.DerivedAppletFrame$AppletEventDispatchThread.run(DerivedAppletFrame.java:911)
And no java applet appears. (I also see no VRML window, but that's another
problem, due to the Xswallow plugin handling.)
Any ideas on why the Java applet gives me this error?
