This is the case where the court denied bail, apparently partly based on the theory that [1]a Jewish defendant is entitled to Israeli citizenship and may therefore more easily flee. This morning, the court granted the defendant's motion to revoke the order of detention (I saw [2]on the court's PACER computer system). [3]Radio Iowa reports that bail was set at $500,000.
