So all this time I've been [1]in search of Jefferson's moose, and now I find that I'd been searching for the wrong huge mammal! Jefferson's mammoth [2]has been unearthed, right under the soon-to-be-built Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego ... Seriously. It could only have been better and more apt if they had found the bones under the Rotunda at U VA.
