Could someone help me ?
I changed my vopmail server to a dual processor pentium III 1000/133 with
plenty of memory.
After that, the number of incoming connections keep increasing and a lot of
users complain that the
they cannot send messages with the usual speed. I changed two times the network card
without
success.
I can't see any clue in the error log. When a user is fetching messages he
receives the message of
timeout and if he wants to wait for more time.
Also the flow of incoming messages has become less effective. It seems that
the incoming
connections get stuck in any point, with no progress in the sending/receiving process.
I also turn on and off the anti spam filter.
I use vop mail server 5.1.202 version with an incoming mail agent which run in
DOS.
