Helo,

Turning this feature on will ensure that you block valid mail servers as not
all send exactly as what vopmail 'expects' . Basically this feature should
not be used as an ANTI SPAM feature as there are many more effective methods
to block unwanted messages.

The upside, is that is rejects all malformed addresses:
TAKEN FROM THE MANUAL
"Reject mailformed addresses
By checking this option, VOPmail will reject all messages that do not
contain a valid address. A valid address is
included between < >'s in the RCTP command (e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED])"

note: I did'nt find it in the vopmail manual but in the modusmail. I guess
it has'nt been updated for this, however I
will forward this to get that added in.

As for what are the benefits.... none besides blocking anything that does
not conform to the above.

But oncew again it should in no way be depended upon to block spam.

My final recommandation, do not use this feature.
