Weird.  This definitely one for the programmers that wander aimlessly
the hallways at Vircom in white coats.

Assuming that the customer is running Windows or a Mac .. use the
default email client and access the account using IMAP and see if the
you encounter the same problem.

If not .. yay!

If so .. try having the original sender change the extension to
something like ... example.txt.  Now we all know that it really isn't a
.txt file so if you customer can access it the attachment that way,
simply have him rename it to .fax.

I've got a glitch once I upgraded to 2.14(15) as well.  The graphic
next to the email that lets you know it has an attachment will not
display.
